Has record of some data or changes been lost?

Question

Just letting the tech types know I noticed this anomaly.

Went to follow up on a profile from June 15th when I asked a question.  My concern on that date was that several sections of the profile were copy & paste without any citation (confirmed by the answers on G2G).

Now those sections have citations, but there is no record of their addition in the Changes tabs.

I also noticed something "fishy" the other day (in regards to other profiles), but after a while the data seemed to be correct.  Sorry, don't remember the date; it was in regards to changes with no matching contributions.

Cynthia ,  in the past I have had something simular happen with proposed merges.  Hasn't happened lately .

Hi Cynthia. That is worrisome. Unfortunately this is hard to investigate. If you or anyone else can point out specific examples please post here (preferably with an exact quote of something that appears to be different but there is no history of them being edited -- I know that's hard to do.)

maybe someone else was in there working on that very profile and fixed while you blinked or something - hope we are not going glitchy - I have had untrackable changes at times - but it may have been right after a change I did - and it had not really kicked in yet is what I have thought
