One place you may be able to find records is at Family Search.  You can sign up for a free account, enter his name, year, and state of birth, and search for records.

Thank you .I just have a hard time pasting things on my family's profile. Maybe I will get the hang of it.

I added a couple of records to the profile for his son, Thomas.  I listed the information in his biography and cited the sources for the specific facts.  Is this the example you were looking for?

Yes,  Thank you, I like that I'm working on learning how to put thing's on so I don't have to aways ask, Thanks for all the help.

Glad to help, Donnie.  There were many people who helped me when I was new to WikiTree, so I'm just trying to pay it forward.

When adding your source within the biography to specific data (an in-line citation), there's a relatively easy way to do it.  Immediately above the large text box where you enter information, you'll see several editing codes, starting with B (bold), I (italics), etc.  The last code is

Cite your source with an inline reference

  1. Enter the information, such as William Hopper was buried in East Laport, Jackson County North Carolina.
  2. Click the C, and it will enter <ref>Insert reference here</ref>
  3. Replace "Insert reference here" with the source citation.
Ok Thank's
