Seeking a birth record for George Milton Baird in Iowa April 1869

I am seeking a birth record for George Milton Baird (also spelled Bayard). He is recorded in Census records as the son of Josephus (Cephas) Edward Baird and Olive Bacon. He was supposedly born 25 April 1869 in Jasper County, Iowa. I believe the family was Methodist, but have been unable to find church records.

State birth registrations did not start here until 1880, and I have plenty of evidence for his life, but would really like to find an actual birth record I can get a photograph/copy of.

Thank you for any search ideas!

1905 Iowa Census and 1910 Census shows George M. Baird born

in Indiana.1870-1880-1900 show born Iowa.Since George M. married

Rosa Hill in Iowa, there is a good possibility George M. Baird parents

are also in Iowa.See where Josephus Baird in 1870 Census was born.
