McAllister from Dublin, Ireland

My grandfather, who I never knew or even saw a picture of came from or at least set sail from Dublin, Ireland in 1900.  I'd like to know more about him if possible.  In 1900 he arrived here in the US. I don't know hardly anything about him.  His wife who we called "Teeny" died in Avon, NY about 1960.  I was born late so most relatives were dead before I was even born.

Hi Charles,    Do you have death records  for your grandparents.   Were they married in NY or Ireland ?  Have you tried the Ellis Island immigration records?      Have a look at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Irish_Roots and in particular the Irish Research page.   All of these might help you with your research.

Most of all why not join us on WikiTree - good luck with your reseach.
