Would anyone like to photograph Dawson Cemetery, South Australia? [closed]

I am putting together a free space page for Dawson Cemetery and would like to add photographs of graves to the profiles. I do have some photos, taken during the 'Back to Dawson' event in 1986; but I can only find one of them so far! I live in NSW and I won't be able to get back there in the near future. If there is anyone out there who is not too far away and wants to take a trip out to take some photographs I would really appreciate it.

Hi Joanne,

There are photos on the internet of all of the graves. They can be found at the following website: http://www.ourpeterboroughsouthaustralia.com.au/history/album/Cemeteries/Dawson%20Cemetery/photos.html#

You could use the link in your free space page. If that is not adequate for your purpose, let me know and I'll see if I have time to take the photos when I pass through Peterborough in several weeks time.

Thanks Geoff,

I have added this link to the free space page.

Eventually I would like to add grave photographs to the individual profiles, but it is likely to take me months if not years to put all the profiles in so there is no rush.
I've added photographing the headstones to my "To Do" list and I'll contact you if I get the chance to take them for you.

Geoff
Hi Joanne,

I have photographed the headstones and will get in touch in a few weeks when I get home. Several of the stones are not legible but I could read enough for me to research them and hopefully fill in the blanks.

Geoff
Thanks Geoff,

I have started adding profiles and linking them to the free-space page. Looks like there are about 200, and I have an obsessive need to add family members where I can find them, so it should take quite a while to finish.

I have been told the stones had deteriorated. Last time I saw them most were quite good, but that was 30 years ago.

Joanne
