I'm trying to identify the parents of Jonathon R. Lathrop (1834-1843) who's grave is located at Meade Cemetery, Findagrave.com #9996987 ? His headstone is located next to the headstones of Orasmus Lathrop (1800-1873) and his father Solomon Lathrop (1786-1846) ( my 4th great grandfather) I can only assume Jonathon (Jonathan) was Orasmus Lathrop's son.
I know Orasmus Lathrop had a daughter Mary J. Lathrop who was born in 1843 in Michigan, and a son Henry Winfield Lathrop (1845-1913) also born in Michigan. The timeline of Jonathon Lathrop is early from those of his siblings, so I'm not sure who his parents were? Orasmus Lathrop grew-up in New York and moved with his family to Flint, Michigan Territory in 1834, according to the obituary article of his younger sister Clarissa L. Nelson (my 3rd great grandmother). Clarissa and Orasmus Lathrop's parents eventually settled in Ray Township, Macomb, Michigan.
Are there any Lathrop family cousin researchers from Michigan who might be able to solve this challenge?
