DNA comparison

I was accepted by Charlotte Lewellen to do a DNA compariso, so I would like to know what's next performing this comparison test.

Can you guide to perform and analyze.

Thank you,

Hello Darrel,

If you tested with AncestryDNA, 23andMe, or Family Tree DNA's Family Finder then the comparison is best performed by you and Charlotte both registering at https://www.gedmatch.com/login1.php and following GEDmatch's instructions to upload your autosomal DNA (auDNA) to GEDmatch.  Then you can do your comparison in GEDmatch.   Once you have registered at GEDmatch you should then enter your GEDmatch ID on your DNA Tests page (the link is towards the upper right of your profile page).

If your comparison confirms your relationship -- http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/DNA_Confirmation then you should add that information in the sources section for the profiles on the ancestral lines back to your most recent shared ancestor: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/DNA_Confirmation#One-to-One_GEDmatch_Confirmation

I recommend you change your privacy level from "Private" to "Private with Public Family Tree."
