Stuck in Fosterland

Question

I have found what I think was our owner, through my DNA.  I thought I'd look and compare the 1860 slave schedule and 1870 census and see if I could connect the dots.  I do know that they remained in Georgia until my grandfather's generation so that helped.  I couldn't make the connection. There's just not enough detail in these records online.  Anyone know about the family of William Sims Foster?

Which one of the children does your grandfather descend from? Looks like they are all in the same cemetery.

Not sure that we do descend from the children.  My DNA matches William so I'm thinking we're the product of his, how do I put it nicely, liasons with the slaves?  Long tradition of Mulattos in the family, including me.  I'm trying to find out about the slaves he owned and see if I can't get past this block.  I can't get past 1900.  I wouldn't have even known about William had it not been for the DNA test.
