I am.  I have a book about the Woodard family from Johnston County and I am slowly but surely getting all the info into Wikitree.  Please feel.free to contact me.   Allan.capps@gmail.com.

I'd like to know more about the book, please. Thanks, Porter

I'm guess the book is the one I found on this profile: we may have common ancestors: Woodard-235 | Joseph Woodard (abt.1723-1791) is my 6th great-grandfather.

There is a very informative book called Woodard Footprints by Merle Woodard Safford that came out in 2016. I'm confident it would speak to your search. You can get it through Amazon. Very well documented.

Yes, I am - back toWilliam M Woodard (1774-1842) https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Woodard-1473 and his father John M Woodard (abt.1755-abt.1782). Prior to that it is very uncertain.

Elisha Woodard (1810-1877) father seems to be https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Woodward-4656

For ancestor https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Woodward-4649 there is a duplicate that for some reason was rejected that I am looking at.
