British Columbia
No record of a marriage under Wylie or Wiley at the British Columbia Archives bdm records.. Perhaps there are alternate spelling for all three names?
April 1909, Jeanie Christie Wylie arrived in Paris Island NY from Scotland.  In 1911 she shows on Canadian census as Jeanie Christie Hunter with a son, Harry Wylie Hunter (my father), living with her brother William James Wylie in southern British Columbia.  We think Hunter was killed in WWI.  Jeanie married Peter Dewar and moved with Harry to northern Alberta.  We are searching for information of whereabouts from 1909 to 1911.
Hi! Karen:

Sorry for the delayed response, I have been away. The 1911 Census record says she immigrated in 1910. Census and immigration records are notorious for estimating dates so you may not have a time gap at all. I did not know that Paris Island, N.Y. was an immigration site. I thought it was a military training base. Do you have the actual immigration record? Was her husband in the Military?

No record of Harry Wylie Hunter being in the 1st. World War Canadian military. Did he change his name to Dewar?
Hello George, my error, not Paris Island but Ellis Island.  I have a document showing her arrival in Ellis island NY.

Nothing further until Canadian census of 1911.
