Beginner can't find/approve Gedcompare

Question

I uploaded a Gedcom yesterday (Thursday) evening.  I received some messages, and an acknowledgement that my Gedcom was uploaded, but didn't receive an email with a link to the "GedCompare". (It wasn't in my "junk" folder. I also couldn't locate it by looking at my tree activities for yesterday's date (or today's, for that matter).  That was the suggestion I found in the help files.

I am currently at the step where I'm supposed to approve my upload (I think), but I have a feeling there is some sort of automatic process that I'm missing.

Am I in too much of a hurry, or is there a step I missed along the way?

Thanks for any tips or suggestions that might get me going again.

Give it a little while. We're a volunteer organisation and people have day jobs.

Hi R, 

Every now and then a GEDCOM gets hung up in our system during an upload.  This happened with your recent GEDCOM upload.  Resubmitting it will cause the same problem to occur. If you'd like to send me your GEDCOM file, I can create a fresh GEDCOM with my family history software and you can upload that one instead. This has worked for others in the past.
