My Walker DNA is a match to Roger Mahan also see Stewart name

My DNA matches ,  to a Roger Mahan also to Stewart Eugene Walker

DNA seems to follow surnames. A Margret Mahan marries a Walker

On WikiTree I also see a relation to a Stewart in that family all from Pen

Is this possible to have a number 1 match to different surname

Is it possible Mahan is actually a Walker

The Roger Mahan match does not respond
