https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consanguinity = Consanguinity ("blood relation", from the Latin consanguinitas) is the property of being from the same kinship as another person. In that aspect, consanguinity is the quality of being descended from the same ancestor as another person.

Ninian Beall Edmonston (1735-1816) Parents: Capt. James Archibald Edmonston Sr. (1697-1753), Mary Ann (Beall) Edmonston (1704-1767.

Many duplicates! = reason: Confusion. Members have not wanted to sort these problems out, so they just go around them.

Arborist please help the Edmonston's.

Most profiles that are affected I have labeled in the Biography with bold text... there are just to many for me to manage, & to many to add to the ID/URL box, I added what I could.

These did the same thing lol:

Colonel Archibald is said to have succeeded his brilliant father-in-law as Commander of the Prince George's County Militia. He died in 1733 leaving several sons and daughters.

His eldest son James (1689-1753) married his cousin Mary Beall, granddaughter of Alexander Magruder of Prince George county. He became a justice for Montgomery county, and was a captain in the Colonial Militia. A younger son, Archibald, married Dorothy Brooke and left descendants, including a son called Roger (1730-1811) and another named Thomas (1740-1805). (The above two paragraphs taken directly from: http://www.edmonstone.com/ ).

Thank You Arborist, In advance for your help! :) JPVIV

I have two distant grandparents that are Edmonstons. There is a duplicate John in here (not easily found due to different spelling. My ancestors are Edmonston-9 and Edmonstone-16. I will try get to these these in the next few days.
