Hi Liz,
It looks like July 10, last night, there was a fairly large group.
When I told you that MatchBot does up to 100 proposals a night I was oversimplifying. I should have been more specific.
When we designed it, we didn't want to overwhelm any one profile manager with a bunch of e-mails. So we don't go in order of profile creation or last name. The system grabs clusters of profiles to compare, then jumps to another spot in the database and grabs another cluster, etc., until it's looked for matches for 100,000 profiles, I think it is. If it sends 100 proposals before it does 100,000 searches, it stops there.
Anyway, this makes it hard to answer your question. :-)
MatchBot could be slowing down for the reason you suggest. It could be completing the cycle for all 11,000,000 profiles. It could also just be grabbing clusters that happen to have fewer matches.
