I wonder which answer you were given?

Maybe there are other circumstances that is preventing the usual answer from working, and if we knew what those were, we might be able to better assist.

There are two ways that I know of and one goes away sometimes and I don't know why??

* Lots of times, on the main page of a profile, there are a bunch of yellow links ... 'Child', 'Sibling', 'Spouse' ... these go away some time ??? ... if it's there, click on the 'Spouse' link and you're off ...

* If those yellow links are gone, then click on the "Edit' tab ... then, over on the right side is: 'Father', 'Mother', 'Siblings', 'Spouses', 'Children' ... in the 'Spouses' section is one more link: '(add/remove a spouse)' ... click on that and you're off again ...

Bob, those yellow links are only available on 1) profiles you can edit (either open, or you're on the Trusted List or the PM), 2) If someone hasn't already marked them as "no more ... " (siblings, spouses, etc.)

On their profile will be a link to add a spouse, children, parents, siblings.....use that.  Here is where it's important to look for duplicate profiles that others are working on.  There is a link for that as well on each profile.   If there is already a profile for someone you want to add, and if they appear to be the same person, you can request a merger.
