Why does profile not show a wife BUT edit pages does show a wife ?

I find another curious situation. DB error report shows 308 error Joseph R. Miller-24350 child linked to Dorothy Langford-235 as both wife and mother. OK, I fixed many of these. BUT this time the profile display of Joseph does not show a wife YET when I click on the edit tab for Joseph it does list wife Dorothy (Langford) Miller. I understand that the gedcom and/or merges may erroneously set up these links. BUT I am curious to learn why does the wiki-tree display for the profile not show the same info that is shown in the edit tab ? Why would the edit display pull the wife link from a different database table than the profile display ?

On the edit page when you go to the marriage edit screen, a box is checked which causes this to not display.  You can go to that page and de-select the box.

That option is for people who are divorced, usually living people.
