Here's a link to the marriage record of Joseph and Clara.  It gives him a middle initial of G, his mother's first name, a birth year and place for Clara, as well as her parents.

"Michigan Marriages, 1868-1925," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NQQS-8N9 : 4 December 2014), Joseph G. Parrot and Clara Thebado, 01 May 1897; citing Marine City, St Clair, Michigan, v 3 p 219 rn 4632, Department of Vital Records, Lansing; FHL microfilm 2,342,507.

Here is an 1881 Ontario census that I suspect may be your Joseph.  I think the mother's name Gloria may be a MIS-transcription of Flora.  If this is correct, you learn Flora's birthplace and of 6 siblings.

Canada Census, 1881," database, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MVDG-X62 : 18 November 2014), Joseph G. Parratt in household of James Parratt, Sombra, Bothwell, Ontario, Canada; citing p. 4; Library and Archives Canada film number C-13276, Library and Archives Canada, Ottawa, Ontario; FHL microfilm 1,375,912.

1900 census, living with his in-laws.

"United States Census, 1900," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M9BF-5MY : 20 January 2015), Joseph Parrott in household of Frank Thebodeau, Marine city Ward 3, St. Clair, Michigan, United States; citing sheet 9A, family 178, NARA microfilm publication T623 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.); FHL microfilm 1,240,741.

Here is the 1910 census.  Two interesting things.  Clara is listed as a sailor, just like her husband.  She is also noted as the mother of 0 children at age 35.

United States Census, 1910," database with images, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MLRB-PRL : 29 October 2015), Joseph Parrot, Clay, St Clair, Michigan, United States; citing enumeration district (ED) ED 93, sheet 1B, NARA microfilm publication T624 (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.); FHL microfilm 1,374,686.

1920 census.  Have Clara's 7 yo nephew Henry.

"United States Census, 1920," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MZ7H-39L : 14 December 2015), Joseph Parrott, Marine Ward 3, St Clair, Michigan, United States; citing sheet 11B, NARA microfilm publication T625 (Washington D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.); FHL microfilm 1,820,795.

Finally, here's a death record frI'm Cook Co., Illinois.

"Illinois, Cook County Deaths, 1878-1994," database, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:Q2MK-4TX2 : 17 May 2016), Joseph Parrott, 22 Aug 1936; citing Chicago, Cook, Illinois, United States, source reference , record number , Cook County Courthouse, Chicago; FHL microfilm .

To me it does not appear that Joseph and Clara had children.  Your best bet for finding connections may be thru Joseph's siblings
