1.This source verifies what you have on Samuel's Birth and Death dates but note no location for the birth.

U.S., Find A Grave 1600s- Current. Name: Dr Samuel Sweet Birth Date: 1749, Death Date: 23 Feb 1837 Death Place: New York, USA Cemetery: Remsen Bush Cemetery Burial or Cremation Place: Florida, Montgomery County, New York, USA. URL:  http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=28822882&ref=acom

2. There is some information here at: http://www.schenectadyhistory.org/families/hmgfm/sweet-2.html

While the other Sweets may not line up exactly, or they left out some generations, Samuel's son Dr Waterman Sweet has the same year of birth year wife's name as your profile of him shows.

Dr. Waterman, son of Dr. Samuel Sweet, was born in Providence, Rhode Island, April 8, 1776, died 1849. He inherited the method of bone treatment followed by his father. His fame extended over a large section of country, and he was much sought after by those afflicted with diseases he was reputed to successfully cure... Waterman Sweet married, in New York, Elizabeth Hodges,

You may have to contact the Schenectady County Public Library in New York to get more information.

Keep digging!!

Hello,

If you do some searches on Bonesetter Sweets you'll find some very interesting information on this family.  I am a descendant of the Bonesetter Sweets.

Here is a brief bit on your part of the family.

Hi Julia, thank you for posting. May I suggest you contact Jamie direct through her profile here: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/user/Folsom-710

Jamie Folson was the one requesting info, and since this was posted back in July of 2016, she may not see it.  Thanks,

Thank you Dorothy, I will do just that.
