I have done the test 4 times now - answers correct. 2 different browsers IE and Firefox. Still no button. Why is this necessary? People apparently have been having trouble with this for years. Please fix the glitch. I can trace my family back beond the 8th century.  I dread more of this process now.

Thank you for being a part of the WikiTree team. You obviously have researched a lot of your family tree.

There are many wonderful team members who will be glad to help.

I'm not exactly certain what you are asking. Your mentor will know and will be able to help as well as others who will find your question here on G2G.

I think Coralee is expressing frustration that despite having successfully taken the pre-1700 test, she has not yet received the Badge (not button) and therefore the ability to edit pre-1700 profiles. She's wondering why it's taking so long.

Coralee, a human has to review the list of test takers and manually add the badge. There are a limited number of humans with this capability so there may be a backlog.
Thanks so much Jillaine. Now I understand. From what I was reading it looked like it was an automatic process that a button popped up after successfully completing the test. So I guess I just have to wait then. I hope it doesn't take too long. Does anyone have any idea how long this process takes?

Cheers,

Coralie.
