yes, addison was his brother.they are buried together in Louisiana with rebbecca Boatwright, many assume that she is their mother, but my research on her seems to contradict this,i seem to have hit a brick wall with his parents.
thank you for your reply, its appreciated.-joyce
thank you very much.let me know if you find something definite, please?
I think issac and Catherine are correct.thank you so much.
I don't have anything definite about Isaac and Catherine yet. They seem to be in the right place at the right time, though.

        I'm not sure maybe??
thank you for helping.i was told that his daughter my 2x ggmother was a member of dar,did Nicholas serve in the revolutionary war?
sorry I mean jeffersons dau. my 2x ggrandmother was a member of dar I believe the dallas texas chapter.
I have found a geneology page by the descendants of Addison vansant jeffersons younger brother, they list Isaac vansant and anna Catherine vansant(nee crap)as the parents.isaac was a soldier in the war of 1812 and died 1860 as a private in the 15th regiment south Carolina militia.he also served as sherriff for Lexington county south Carolina 1844-48 and again 1852-56.as this appears to be well documented,i trust the information to be accurate.thank you so much for your help.anything more you might find, please don't hesitate to pass it on!
