Supporting the pending Switzerland project [closed]

Hello guys and gals,

I just wanted to show my support for the tentative Switzerland project.  I do have maternal ancestors that immigrated here from that beautiful country.  If you're a Swiss descendant, maybe you'd like to help spread the word about this pending project as well.  Good luck to the coordinators and thank you for all you do!

I'm still trying to make the Switzerland page into a formal project, but I'm getting no assistance from administration. I've just asked again. Hopefully it will come soon.

I have already mentioned a couple of times that I'm interested in joining the Switzerland project, but I don't see that I'm a member yert, so if anyone who is a member could put me in as a member, I'd appreciate it. As it says in a public message, My GGrandfather came from Switzerland in 1858 ending up in Ohio where most of his descendants still live.  I believe he came from the Solothurn area as there's a Darendingen which is a suburb of the city of Solothurn. and most of the people with Darendinger-like surnames lived in that area too.

It's my understanding that it isn't actually a project yet, but they are trying to make it one.  At this point they are needing to know if it's wanted, and they are still working on categories, the badge, and information for it.
