How do I readopt Thompson Alexander and/or join his trusted list?

Even though Thompson Alexander is my great-great uncle, I cannot join his trusted list or adopt his profile since the wikitree administrator "fixed" the privacy on his profile to non-public.  Alexander-8097 and Alexander-4948 need to be merged into the same profile, but had no response from Chuck Alexander about the merge.  Now "Anonymous (Alexander) Anonymous" complete messed up my family tree, making "himself" the son of his own descendant, Erman Alexander and his wife Shirley King.

It's still not adoptable; it's still non-public profile though I was the one who originally created it.  I guess I'll have to wait to readopt it.

David there's a link on the late that says Adopt this Profile. What happens when you click on it?

If you try to adopt it, you get the message:

The profile is not public so it cannot be adopted.
