My grandmother - Mammy (Malva Jane Campbell) - has always fascinated me. She was 90 years older than I and I only met her once when I was 5 in 1965. I am chasing the Garrett E Campbell line forward (have it backward to Scotland, if Garrett E is my ancestor) because I believe, based on the 1910 census in KY, Garrett is her father but we have not been able to definitely track her father down. He was married to Elizabeth Eversole, which my father and mother knew personally. I also have many other paternal avenues to explore in the Farmer, Eversole, lines. I'm newly retired and finally have a chance to explore my Scottish roots. Boy I am excited. I have volunteered and hopefully will be accepted so I can flesh out this family myth. I will be doing autosomal DNA in the next couple of months, which I will upload here as well. I would love the tutelage of any experienced wikitreers!
