Press search and if you page down after getting the results, there is a James W Faulkner in the 1940 US Census born MO, married to Mary L Faulkner.

James Faulkner 1765-1834,  Mary Lessie 1768-1810, York County,  South Carolina children,  Thomas,  Samuel, James,  William I got this off somewhere on the Internet but I prefer to see Census and someone to verify it, they have no Girls listed but they may have not had any, Thanks for the other information it may be A great  great great grandson,  I will keep up with this information.

James Faulkner would have been 47 in 1812. The War of 1812 was not confined to one year. The Battle of Lake Erie and the Battle of New Orleans took place after 1812 but were part of that war.
