Help needed please with William Platts b. Worthington, Leicestershire, England. [closed]

I have thus far drawn a complete blank on William Platts's birth and parentage. There are William Platts's born in Rearsby and Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire but they turn up in Birmingham and Tamworth on the censuses when I have him living in Barrow upon Soar in 1841, 1851 and 1861, an agricultural labourer/gardner married to Frances Croston/Croson.

Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

I think I have found my answer and it has nothing to do with "troubling issues" of which there are none as this is a well researched, properly sourced tree. I had thought that maybe William was born with a different surname, or the birthdate on the censuses was out, or the parish entry was unreadable but none of my wider searches bore fruit. A web search tonight brought up a Rootschat post with others having the same problem as me and an answer as to why. The answer is that the Parish Registers from about 1788 - 1812 Worthington are missing.
I have been undertaking a one name study of Platts's in the N Leics area and when it is complete and all the sources are collated, I might be able to fill in some blanks.

I see too many troubling issues,I see marriage record Too Frances Croson

Dec 25 1811.But what you need to give me is the descendant that led

you to this point. There are other William Platts also.A  child born 6 years after there marriage,???All the names and dates and where of that descendant. It is really easy to get off track.

The first son, William was born in 1813, 2 years into the marriage. I have done considerable work on this lineage but have been unable to find William b circa 1788's parents. Frances, a Liverpudlian was recorded as Croson on the marriage transcript but the name is actually Croston and I've gone back a way on her line with no problem.
