Will someone show me the documentation that gives Solomon Pippen the middle name of Hancock?

Well, since the only "source" cited on that profile is a deadlink to an abandoned Ancestry Family Tree, you could make a major contribution toward improving it by adding your sources to the profile text and describing the information you have from those sources. :-)

The change log for that page shows that the  middle name was added a few months ago. To find out why it was added, I suggest that you send a PM to the contributor who added that name (you can find him in the change log). He's not on the trusted list for that profile, so he's not likely to notice your message on the profile page.

Presumably it came from the internet.  It's actually all over the internet.

Oddly though it's not in Ancestral File and seems to have arrived in Pedigree Resource File only recently.
