Introduction - Uzubalis and Buss

Hi there!

I am new to Wikitree and keen to find out how far this search into my family tree will take me.

Recent passings in my family have had me (and other family members of my generation) wondering about our heritage more - so here I am on Wikitree. :-)

I was born in Adelaide, Australia (22 October 1967) and have a younger sister, Deborah Natalia Uzubalis.

My father was Virgilius Rimgaudas Uzubalis (born Vilnius, Lithuania 17 April 1936) and my mother was Liene Uzubalis (nee Buss, born Riga, Latvia 24 February 1941).

I have heard about DNA testing for geneology purposes and am also keen to do this as well.

Any and all assistance, advice, suggestions and information is warmly welcomed. One day, I hope to travel to Latvia and Lithuania as I have never been to these countries.
