Searching Heads Lance Cove (Brownsdale) NL Canada

Question

Where can I find Information for my great grandmother Elizsbrth nee unknown, married name Head and her husband who I believe died at sea.  They lived in Lance Cove NL Canada,  now known as Brownsdale.  I cannot find any information on this side of my family rearding names of the above and their siblings and ancestors.  The time period would be in the early to midle 1800's.  I don't even kbow if my grandmother Lavinia Head, married nale Bluundon had siblings.
