what triggered the huge red warning with the only option to not save?

Hi! I was editing John's profile & went to save it. I got a huge red banner warning me to check the dates and something about a child's death should not be more than 170 years after mother's birth .... I checked all the dates. Twice. I checked his parent's dates. I checked both wives' dates. Half an hour later I gave up. Copied all the text I had just added to another program so I wouldn't lose it (only option in the red banner was a button that seemed to say I couldn't save the profile... "save without changes" I think it was). Luckily, I was given the option to leave or stay on page, I chose to stay, tried to save again, and got the changes I'd made saved. Then I checked another source that had slightly different info for some of the kids, so I went back for another edit. Same message but I clicked the button to save without changes & it let me save without having to click "stay on page" first. I've checked again the family tree & family group sheet & the dates seem reasonable. Not everybody has a death date though. Is that the problem? Is this a db_errors check before a save is allowed?

I've had the same issue with multiple profiles where there is obviously no issue with dates.
I had a similar problem...added sources to a profile...got the huge red banner...misunderstood the ability to save anyway and lost my half hour of work...doggedly redid my work and saved. Someone had used arbitrary dates on one of the children as placeholders and poor me...sourcing away was the one who suffered. A lesson well learned...hmm or earned!

It is just letting us know to double check the data we are entering. It will shorten the error reports (Hopefully). I think it is a great idea and one that is needed.
