what's his WikiTree ID?

d'oh! sorry... didn't realize it was in the headline. I was looking for a link in the message.
I found a DAR record for him, but it doesn't even include his wife's name.
Can you add it PLEASE,  The record and 1776, I have problems doing it sometime and I don't want to make no mistake,  Thanks
I had added the DAR ref - at the bottom of the profile under "See also:" - before posting about it here. Just click the link in it on his profile page to see the DAR page for him.

I've now added the1776 template also.

And don't worry much about making a mistake on editing. Aside from merges & LNAB changes, most mistakes can be easily corrected. Merges are an exception because you can't undo a bad merge, so you want to be super careful with merges. And while a change to the "last name at birth" (LNAB) can be changed again, it causes problems behind the scenes (because the LNAB is the basis for the WikiTree ID).

Cheers,
Liz
Thanks for all this information,  you know what's funny about all this I knew about this being my Great Grandfather for years but never could find much this little things so I got to digging and if I'm not mistaken Donald Trump has a Brother-in-law with this name so I had to get him added before they blocked the name , this is funny to me,  I may be wrong,  I don't want to go digging to much it may be the same family, and they may not like me being a regular person living in S.C  but I am Republican,  lol Thank's if you find anything about the sibling's let me know.
I want to put Sarah Weedon done as the spouse of David Dishman her dad is John Weedon mother is Jane Sheires , John's dad is George Weedon wife Sarah Turner,  Sarah's  dad John Turner,  Jane Sheires dad is Alexander Shirass wife Mary but I just don't know I'm not brave I see all kind of different things out here and it hard for me to tell which one is real,  HELP PLEASE,  THANK'S

I looked around in WikiTree to see if I could find profiles for the people you named & the closest I came was Sarah Weedon (Weedon-22) m David Dishuare (UNKNOWN-59997) - which aren't really that close.

Looking at the information you have on David Dishman-207, I think it would be appropriate to create new profiles for David's parents and wife & her parents.

I found WikiTree's learning curve fairly steep, but the more I worked with it, the easier it got. The only thing that can really mess up the tree is a bad merge (because it can't be undone), and you want to get the correct Last Name at Birth first try (it can be changed, but repeated changes can cause problems behind the scenes, since the LNAB is the basis for the WikiTree ID).

So... Go to Dishman-207 and if [spouse] is showing, click that to add a profile for Sarah Weedon. If it's not showing, click the Edit tab, then in the right-hand column, click [add] beside Spouse:  I recommend adding just her name, birth year (I'd suggest the guess of 1720), and gender. Create the profile, then go edit it. Add a biography with who her parents are/sources; copy in the marriage source from David's profile; and note that 1720 is a guess based on 1740 marriage and husband's birth year of 1714.

Good luck :D

Give a holler if you hit a snag.

Thanks I looked and looked and I'm the same way some of them are wrong ever one of them had something that wasn't going to add up , this is my Direct line and I don't want to chase the wrong family,  say a prayer and let's see what happens,  Thanks
I'm going to get started here soon on Sarah Weedon I just don't want to get it all confused when I get started,  I got everthing down on paper,  Thanks for being patient and helpful,  sincerely,  Donnie Alan Blackstone
