Is there a bug in a new edit for child's birth vs mother's birth?

I received this new warning twice this evening:

Warning: Check the dates.
A child's death date should not be more than 170 years after their mother's birth date. This would mean that even if the mother gave birth at 70, the child lived to be over 100.
SAVE WITHOUT CHANGES If you are saving without changes consider an explanation in the text.   [more info]

I have double checked dates for both child and mother and can not see any problem.  The birth dates for the mother are  "about"  dates.  The mother's dob is close to that of the father but there does not seem to be an error for his dob.  Am I missing something or is there a bug?  (Nice to have an edit for this but not sure this one is working)
