Many, many thanks Nanette! I would have marked your answer "Best" if Maggie had not beaten me to it.

Now I can confidently work this new data into the profile of Gabriele Andrea, who went to live and marry in the Netherlands.

Sounds good to me.  I have been transcribing some Italian records for Family Search.  Hopefully my husband's Pezzutti ancestors will all appear in the records soon.
That would be a great help I guess. I did some indexing of Dutch records for FS in the past. In the Netherlands we are lucky because almost all archives are indexed and online, and images also available at FS.

In the meantime I also found Gabriele Andrea's naturalization to Dutchman and his obituary (at some time went back to his birth place and passed away there  October 1933). Was running a chimney sweeping (cleaning? don't know the right translation) business in Amsterdam.

Good luck with the Pezzutti ancestors!
