I have found some people who got "Riddare av SvärdsOrden (RSO)"

Order of the Sword

Question: Anyone doing categories for orders like that?

Does it add value?

I have a few profiles with strange letters I don't understand.  For example, Malmborg-8 : RVO Claes Alfred Malmborg.  Is RVO some other award?

Found it!  Knight of the Royal Order of Vasa.  Now what?

I definitely think it adds value to know that an ancestor was part of an ancient knighthood.

My question is more:

  1. Is Category better than no category
  2. Why create the category
    1. To group people and see what other people has this knighthood

    2. Have the Category page to link to more information about the Knighthood....
      1. Wikipedia Order_of_the_Sword
      2. Swedish Royal Court about Orders
        1. The order of the Swords

There is already Categories->Society->Awards and Honours->Orders of Chivalry

You could put [Swedish Orders of Chivalry] in there.

I did this

  1. Awards_and_Honors
    1. Category: Orders, Decorations, and Medals of Sweden
      1. Category:Order_of_the_Sword
Fair enough. That works.

Does King of Sweden have a profile on WikiTree?

Yes see video how to check if they are connected

Simple and efficient. Thank You Magnus. :)
And if everyone when adding a Wikipedia link also added the WikiTreeID at Wikidata we would get a good tool to check that we don't create duplicates....
