Sorry don't know my way round yet but found out from valuable info supplied by Ed Grimes - thank you once again Ed- that John Hart's parents - Joseph Athol Hart (born 1790, died 1897) - what an extraordinary age - he lived 107 years- and Mary Jane Pepperell (born 1795 died 1849) were the people who emigrated to New Zealand but I don't know when yet- not John Hart. Since the first four ships arrived in NZ 1950 these people must have already been settled in New Zealand which makes them very early settlers. The parents - Joseph and Mary Jane- lived in Dev. England, Joseph was born in Woodleigh England and Mary Jane I think in Charleton Dev England. They are both buried in Taranaki New Plymouth NZ. They had one son - John - my great grandfather. And now I know who my great,great grandfather is as well. Excellent. If this can be of use to anyone out there they are very welcome. Maybe someone can tell me where to write this sort of stuff - that is information not a question. Many thanks, Christine Rynhart
