I would like to find what part of Poland my mothers side of the family comes from.  My grandmothers name was Steffie Yavorski (maiden name) Mackaravitz (married name) born  September 1897 to John Yavorski and Anna (unknown) in Rus/poland in abt. 1870.  Immigration was about 1890 to United States where Steffie was born in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania  My mothers fathers name Charles Clement Mackaravitz born 1898 also in Luzerne County.  His parents were Clemens Mackaravitz (Makaravitz, Macarevetz) born abt1855 in Poland and Agnes (unknown) Mackaravitz abt 1862 Poland. Possibly immigration date for them also is abt 1890. I have no family left to ask information on for my family tree and documents must be long gone.  I would like to know if these surnames point to an area of Poland for me to research.  Thank you for your time.
