French-Canadian surnames

Question

For about the past 15 years I have been working on a little project of creating a reference list of French-Canadian & Acadien surnames (which includes Cajun and metis).  I have just uploaded the newest version of the list.  Additions and especially corrections greatly appreciated.

Hi James,

Both the documents you uploaded on there appear to require downloading to read them.  With recent problems, not going there.  Any other format available that can be read straight off without downloading?

See if you can download it Via Google Docs somehow. I just downloaded a huge genealogy file with pictures and everything on there and then you can read it an all without it downloading to your computer.

Danielle, I have no idea, I am very computer challenged, the file comes /generated from my genie computer program and this is the only format it provides.

Genie computer program????  Genie to my knowledge is a genealogy tree site.

I am using an abbreviated form for genealogy, sorry.  I think you are thinking of Geni?
