I seem to have hit a research roadblock.
I'm currently researching the Conley family in Ontario (around the Middlesex area), but once I got to William Conley, I couldn't get any further. I was curious to see if anyone can offer any help: it would be much appreciated, even if it's just a suggestion of where to search next.
I know that William was born around 1809 (in Dorchester, Middlesex, Ontario) and that he married Mary Walker on January 19, 1835 in Middlesex, Ontario. His children were born in Dorchester (which is where both he and his wife are from).
In his marriage records, one of the two witnesses appears as "Charles Conly," so I am thinking this is either his father or brother.
The only other record that I am sure belongs to William Conley is the 1851 census, in which he appears with his family (but on Ancestry.com, they are not listed as a family).
Any more possible information on William would be much appreciated!
