What a special honor to drive Queen Elizabeth around. But if he worked this regular duty for the Danish King's Stables then he may have often transported dignitaries and royalty. It is in Copenhagen I guess, right Susan? Still an amazing privilege and a high quality photo. Very impressive and thank you so much for sharing. I saved this to show my friends.

Thank you very much, yes he did drive for The Royaly, must be and amazing job meeting all the Royal people.

After him came my father in law and now my husband, but he are with the queen when she has a party. In christiansborg castle. He was high jack to the job 42 years ago.

Yes it is Copenhagen

Thank you again

Susan, I am incredibly impressed by your pictures. You have one of the best collection of family pictures that I have seen.

Now you come up with one of Christian Laursen  with "the Queen". What an honor that must have been for him.

I wonder how many different types of oaths he had to sign in order to just drive her around?

And it looks like the are on a cobble-stone road.

I am very impressed with your picture collection, and this is one of my favorite so far.

Thank you for sharing.
