I have a photo of Battle of Bloed Rivier Centenary which is set private. I'm sure it will be of interest to others

I finally found out how to make the photo public. I had to change the privacy settings for my dad! It's done now. You can view it here: http://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Coetzee-1247-1

Hi Ingrid

The Battle of Blood River took place in 1838, but this photo is dated 1933 which would then be the 95th Anniversary. http://www.sahistory.org.za/article/origins-battle-blood-river-1838.

I have a few Odendaal's on my watchlist. Will be looking to see if I can trace anyone.

It was the centenary choir, not the battle itself Esme
Maybe they rehearsed for 5 years! I don't know. That's exactly how the photo was scanned in. Unphotoshopped
Hi Ingrind,

Thanks for the reply, it made me chuckle :)

If they did rehearse for that long, I am sure they were very good.
