t. I have a "Sarah Mcvay" who married James King abt 1868 poss. In PA, in minnesota. I have info from census records for 1870 elba winona mn. Living with the family of a Michael McGuire abt 50 yrs old, widower. Then the records of the Mcvay/mcvey family anthony James Mcvay and Bridget McGuire who lived near my family in the 1880 ellington twp, dodge mn census. My ancestor is listed as sarah king nee Mcvay on marriage records. born abt july 1864.. or so. Listed as born ire, born. Can. Born minnesota depending on the source. . From census records her parents were born ire. They lived in canada before moving to minnesota. The basic time frame seems to fit. I am wondering if my sarah could be ellen or maria.. btw she named her oldest daughter ellen. Ellen King married J. Geisenhoff in Ramsey county mn. Also my grndma used to tell me abt her great uncle Andrew... maybe the andrew born to bridget and Anthony james mcvay, mcvey etc. Any info appreciated. At a brick wall.
