If Mary Carlock wasn't born until 1755, who is the real mother of Frederick Starnes, Jr.'s children?

Mary [Carlock-58] Starnes might fit with some genealogical myth about Frederick, Jr.'s wife.  Records showing that Caroline Carlock [Carlock-55]  being Frederick's wife abound and her birth year is more in line with Frederick's children's birth year.  Check out History of the Carlock Family and Adventures of Pioneer Americans, p. 613.  http://maconsonline.com/genealogy/surnames/fam01210.htm and http://www.myblueangel.net/Myblueangelpage47.html also list Caroline as Frederick's wife.  Caroline is currently posted on wikitree as Adam Starnes's wife.
