Have received this error message - what & how do I fix it

Have received this error message:

Cite error 5; Invalid <references> tag; no input is allowed, use <references />

Do I just put the info under references?  This is acceptable to our Government & know that is why these forms were used,   Unsure if the date of birth is on here as cannot see them.  Please advise me how to fix this and where to put this notation.

The References tag should be <References/> with the "/" I believe.

I am not sure I agree with you;  Have not used many baptismal certificates but these were used as proof of age when it became pension time in Canada.  This one is dated I believe in 1933 so is under Poland but Ignatius Hnat Syrnyk was dated in Empire of Austria so believe he came to Canada with it.   Can we ask someone familiar with these documents whether these can be used as proof of age and when born as well as baptismal dates?  Really would like someone with Ukrainian expertise to advise on this.
The reference tag should just fix the error in the HTML. That's all it does.
Thank you.
Lauraine,

It would be a good idea to start a new question about the baptismal certificates and the Polish or Ukrainian documents. As it is, your question is hidden under the error message and won't be found by people who may be able to help.
