George Fox was leader and founder of the quakers in ireland,although he was born in england,although the meeting place was in ireland the largest amount of members came from england and scotland;

it looks like we are relation through you g-grandfather and your great grandmother on you fathers side.christopher thomas shaw is our 11th great grand father.
christopher thomas shaw was from england,but his family came out of scotland.

My Thornton ancestors were Presbyterian Scots/Irish but my father's DNA matches some Thorntons who were Quakers who immigrated to Pennsylvania. It is possible that our common ancestor left England for Ireland, making them Irish Quakers.
