Thought I had the steps for creating categories down pat but I just discovered that my new category Vermont Quakers and my subcategory Danby, Vermont, Monthly Meeting, don't seem to be where I thought they should be.  Would appreciate help...Thanks!

Hello, V!

You have it (your Vermont Quakers category) as a subcategory of both American Quakers and Vermont Quakers. If you delete the Vermont Quakers code from the edit box (click green "edit" link on right side of page) and then save it, the categories should show up correctly.

Be sure to let us know if this procedure corrects the problem!

Thanks so much!  It looks like I cleared up the incorrect location for Rachel White's profile also....

I appreciate your help!

It looks like Vermont Quakers is a subcategory of itself...

It should probably be a subcategory of http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:American_Quakers
Yes, and I tried to untangle my mess, but I seem to be making it worse!
