how can Cadwaladr ap Rhys b 1601 be the son of Rhys ap Mardudd b 1450?   Please check this out and change it...

Your statement (your records show...) indicate that we are an organization with strict control of our "records."  

Not so, we are a group of dedicated amateurs who hope we've got it right. We try, but there's little assurance that errors haven't been made.

We appreciate corrections, and your bringing this disparity to light is part of our goal.

Thanks, Tom!  I didn't see this on G2G earlier, but when it was brought to my attention I took the easy way out.  Rhys ap Maredudd is no longer the father of Cadwaladr ap Rhys.  He certainly has never been the father of THAT Cadwaladr ap Rhys!
