i am trying to find the parents of william franklin lyle(1859-1932) who lived and died in Scott,county mississippi'

Question

William Franklin Lyle is the grandfather of my wife. Family members have spoken of him moving to Mississippi from Alabama with his mother after the civil war. William's father never returned from the war and was assumed to be killed in the war. William's mother is said to have married again to a Wallace after she moved to Mississippi. All of his siblings have passed away and those descendants  who remain have been unable to identify his parents. Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks
