How do I reply and send private email through wikitree?

I received an email that says it's through the private service but it also says sender wasn't logged in. The email address doesn't look private either. At any rate, how do I send private email through wikitree? I'm not sure I simply want to respond through my regular email account. The sender is asking me for info to see if we have a match.

Thank you! So since she didn't log in to wikitree before emailing me from my page, I don't have her profile, so I can't email her back through the private service. When I have more time to look, perhaps I'll find her profile on my own if we're related. Thanks!

Well, you can send private email to a person by going to a profile and looking at the yellow line starting with the Profile Manager you're interested in and clicking on the box titled "send private message" it will pull up a partly filled out e-mail page for you to say whatever you want to say. When its complete, you need to go the bottom of the page and there will be a small box where you will be asked to enter the last three letters of the alphabet. Do that and then send it. You can only sent a maximum of 20 such messages a day but normally that's enough.

however, sending someone a "private" message, will send them your email address (and you still won't have theirs, unless they reply)
so you might as well reply to their message, because either way, you'll be giving them your email address.
