Need an arborist to complete a merge...

Question

Could an arborist please look at the proposed merge of Rose Miriam Riley (Riley-3275) and Rose Riley (Riley-3185) to verify that it is valid, then complete the merge? As far as I can tell, this is the same person, but because of the privacy settings, I can't be positive. There were a lot of other duplicates in this branch -- it looked like someone either had a GEDcom imported twice, or it already contained duplicates...

Kitty, only members of the trusted lists can complete merges of private profiles.

As already mentioned, the PMs or those on the profiles' "trusted lists" must complete the merge. If, however, no one responds to the merge request, here are the instructions on how to proceed...

Arborists do not have any "special" powers when it comes to merging.   The only way that private profiles get merged is like Ellen says...by the profile managers.    The only people who have special powers to do these merges are the Wikitree Team members.  http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/WikiTree_Team

Kitty, I posted a note on the profile, as well as on the profile of the PM, as well as sending him a private message.  The same person is PM of both profiles.  I see there are others up the line that have merge requests also.  He hasn't been active since February.  If no response is received in the next few weeks, a request for 'unresponsive profile manager' can be submitted.
