Merge Reeves-1861 into Ryves-16 [closed]

Question

Pre-1500 Certification is required to complete this merge. Also PPP by Euro-Aristo.

Should keep all data as is from Ryves-16!

Mikey, I am pre 1500 qualified and agree that it needs doing. I merged the daughter but Robert was initially rejected so couldn't do it at the time .As you know I have an interest in him. He's part of a number of interconnected 'local' families who I have been researching  but I am neither a member of the project, nor a PM

.As you know I've added some text  but left what was on the profile before. I would like to add a bit more from his will which I have transcribed . I  think that perhaps he should have an AKA of Reves since that is the name used at the start of the will 'I Robert Reves' (Ryves used interchangeably later)

 If you want to make any changes to what I have written in the body of the text, I'm happy to do it (just tell me the formatting, not my strong point)  I would rather you stayed on as PM because no-one else has communicated at all about this man  (or  the rest of the family so it's a bit of a lonely furrow in terms of collaboration)

I won't  attempt the merge now as am about to leave and  don't want to muck it up so someone else may do it. I will be offline until at least Tuesday (and hope I get internet access then)

I will remove my demotion request for the time being.

completed the merge and did a bit of revision please contact if you want anything changed. Still not got continuous internet contact ( clearing father's house and relying on friendly neighbours internet access)

Where it says: An unsourced profile created for Robert Reeves with an earlier birth year of 1575 but the same death data

Obviously should be 1475. I don't think it's necessary to include it or give credit as there was no source, but OK to leave it if you think it helps.

As far as the alternate spelling, I don't normally try to record every spelling difference found in documents, but if you think this one is significant, like it could help locate his father's line, then it's OK.  I find it a little awkward the way WikiTree displays names like this, but that isn't under our control.

I didn't think it was necessary either but  was uncertain about  removing the mention that 'this profile was created' because it wasn't  so altered it to make it clear. (will remove!)
