If I want to export from Wikitree, what happens to documents/photos, etc. that were added

If I want tro export from Wikitree, what happens to documents/photos etc.?  Is there any way to save/export those items?

Hi Paula,

No, those won't export with the gedcom. The gedcom can only export plain text. But there will be links to images and documents.

Also, definitely keep a local copy of anything you upload to WikiTree.

I've found that keeping a seperate folder on my pc comes in handy to store photos, copies of scanned documents and other info handy. Just remember to label the photo so you know which profile it belongs to. And keep a back up on disc or external source
